These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bledga, a financial management platform operated by Bemny Technologies Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using Bledga, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bledga, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using Bledga on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bledga.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account that you did not report promptly.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay for subscription services.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Free and Paid Plans

Bledga offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Plus, Pro, and Business). Features and limits vary by plan as described on our Pricing page. We may update features, limits, or pricing with 30 days' notice.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your choice. Payments are processed securely through Paystack. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

For annual subscriptions, if you cancel within the first 14 days and have not substantially used paid features, you may request a full refund by contacting support@bledga.com.

All content, design, code, features, and branding of Bledga are owned by Bemny Technologies Ltd. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on our service without permission.

You retain full ownership of the data and content you input into Bledga. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. AI-Powered Features

Tax Advisor Disclaimer

Bledga's AI Tax Advisor provides general tax information and guidance based on publicly available Nigerian tax laws. It is not a substitute for professional tax, legal, or financial advice. We recommend consulting a qualified professional for complex tax situations, disputes, or legal matters.

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Tax laws change frequently, and there may be a delay before our system reflects the latest changes. You are responsible for verifying any tax calculations or advice before acting on them.

Receipt Scanning

AI receipt scanning provides automated extraction of receipt data. Results may not be 100% accurate, so always verify extracted amounts and categories. We are not liable for errors in AI-processed data that you accept without verification.

8. WhatsApp Integration

Bledga offers a WhatsApp-based interface that allows you to log expenses, record income, scan receipts, and ask financial questions by messaging our business number. By using this feature, you agree to the following:

Bledga integrates with third-party services including Supabase (hosting and authentication), Paystack (payments), Meta/WhatsApp (messaging), and AI providers (AI features). Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third party's terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

You agree to indemnify and hold Bemny Technologies Ltd. harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the service, or infringement of any third party's rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, under the rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Bledga after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
